The Pegasus Television Network has finalized its 2Q launch schedule with the addition of Dallas, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz and Sacramento to the previously announced Houston and Fresno television markets.
These eight television markets will reach almost 33,000,000 people representing about 13,000,000 “horseholds,” or television homes, in initial targeted regions of the two top horse population states. Third quarter market launches are expected to double those numbers by the end of September.
The company is syndicating the new 24/7 equestrian and country lifestyle network with rifle-shot accuracy into clearly identified high “horsehold” television markets, delivering customized local channels for each region.
To insure total viewer saturation in each market, the network will mirror each local PegasusTV broadcast with an individual streaming channel on PegasusTV.com and select local websites in each area.
By customizing local affiliated channels in each market, the network builds close relationships with its audience, its advertisers and the local horse communities. A key component of the network’s commitment in each market is the no-cost airtime to equestrian and farm animal clubs and organizations on the weekends.
