Experience horsemanship like never before with Downunder Horsemanship’s Fundamentals series. It’s Clinton Anderson’s signature Method with a new system and improved techniques. Downunder Horsemanship has released its latest innovation – a new structure to learning the Clinton Anderson Method of training horses. The Method is now divided into four progressive levels of instruction: Fundamentals, Intermediate, Advanced and Professional. The newly packaged Fundamentals series features not only training DVDs, but detailed Arena Mates and a comprehensive Philosophy Book as well. “In order to help people progress faster and build a better partnership with their horses, I’ve redesigned the format in which my training method is presented,” Clinton explains. “The revamping of the Downunder Horsemanship Method came straight from my customers. People were often confused about where to begin when first starting the program.” With the comprehensive Fundamentals series, all the guesswork is gone; you’ll know exactly where to start, and exactly where to progress to. One of the benefits to the restructuring of the Method is that the levels are specifically designed to follow the progression of Clinton’s horsemanship clinics. If you attend a Fundamentals clinic, you can expect to follow the format and cover the exact exercises that are included [...]

Clinton Anderson of Downunder Horsemanship is pleased to announce his partnership with Vetericyn. An American-based company, Vetericyn offers an array of animal wound and infection treatment products that are as safe as water and designed to mimic the actions of the animal’s own immune system to heal wounds and fight infections. “I am excited to welcome Vetericyn to Downunder Horsemanship,” Clinton says. “It’s a product I truly believe in. It’s safe and simple to use, it doesn’t sting my horses’ wounds and best of all, it works.” Vetericyn is steroid-free and antibiotic-free, which makes it an ideal product to treat show animals as it tests free. The unique solution starts healing from the inside out and does not harm healthy tissue so it will not leave a scar. Vetericyn can be used to treat scratches, rain rot, cinch fungus, ringworm, cuts, eye infections, skin rashes, skin ulcers, skin infections, abscess sites, burns, hot spots, outer ear infections, post-surgical sites and respiratory tract associated infections. Clinton first discovered Vetericyn last spring when a filly on his ranch injured herself, cutting her face from just below her eye to her nose. He was given Vetericyn to try and was instantly amazed at [...]

Downunder Horsemanship is excited to announce the winner of rescue horse “Cider”. After being featured in Clinton Anderson’s thirteen-week rescue horse RFD-TV series, Cider has found a new home with No Worries Club member Amy Oliver Ortiz. Donated by Habitat for Horses, Cider arrived at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch late last summer after being rescued twice from starvation. With the goal of filming a TV show that would highlight a rescue horse and then place it in a good home, Clinton set to work earning Cider’s respect, confidence and trust using his Method. The palomino mare soon proved to be good natured and willing to please. “Cider is the perfect example of a good horse that could have gone to waste if someone hadn’t made the effort to contact Habitat for Horses and ask the right questions,” Clinton says. “Many rescue horses are good horses just waiting for someone to invest some time in them. If you’re willing to put in the time to work with them and train them, you can not only improve their lives, but you can also get a really nice horse.” Over 100,000 viewers of the Downunder Horsemanship series registered for a chance to win [...]

The American Competitive Trail Horse Association, ACTHA, is excited to announce that they have become a sponsor of Downunder Horsemanship and Clinton Anderson. “We are excited to have ACTHA on board!” Said Clinton Anderson. “In addition to helping horse charities, trail riders gain a national stage to show what they have learned using Downunder Horsemanship’s methods.” Highlights of the sponsorship include ACTHA presence at all Walkabout Tour stops, commercials during the RFD-TV program Downunder Horsemanship and a full Downunder Horsemanship episode dedicated to Clinton teaching his proven Method on various trail obstacles that are challenges on the ACTHA Trail Rides. Carrie Scrima, Co-Founder of ACTHA says, “We always dreamed of being on Clinton’s show but never dreamed it would happen so soon. Then again, we never dreamed thousands and thousands of trail riders and their wonderful horses would answer the call for help as forcefully as they have! It’s an amazing thing to witness. At the rate of growth we are currently experiencing ACTHA, with everyone’s help; we will take a serious bite out of the horse hunger dilemma. This sponsorship with Downunder Horsemanship will fuel ACTHA to be the conduit for tons of hay and much needed supplies getting [...]
