February 16, 2011 Off By Roberta Johnston

United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is offering exhibitors in Morgan and Saddlebred Divisions the opportunity to take part in a pilot program that will provide an annual incentive award of $1,000 given to the owners of the top horse that competes at USEF competitions.

In order for individuals to be eligible for this new incentive program, they must be a USEF member and record their horse (annual or life) with USEF prior to competing at any competitions offering the USEF Cup designation. A horse can only earn points in the division in which it competes. All classes in each Division/Section (not just classes offered for Horse of the Year; exception: Equitation) will count toward points for this award.
