Purina HOW Horse Owner’s Workshop Sweepstakes Winner Receives Grand Prize
June 19, 2010Purina Horse Feed announces Diana Schueller of Tulsa, Okla., as the grand prize winner of the 2009 HOWÒ Horse Owner’s Workshop Sweepstakes. Schueller will receive a prize package including: a custom-built trailer provided by Twister Trailer; a Priefert 3-bay prefabricated horse barn; a $1,000 Western Wrangler® Wear wardrobe; a $1,000 Carhartt® gift certificate; one ton of Purina® Premium Horse Feed; and a generous assortment of horse products from other industry-leading companies.
“When I got the notification that I won, I was seriously in shock,” said Schueller. “I thought this can’t be happening. I never win anything.”
Schueller, who is an equine coordinator for the Bit by Bit Therapeutic Riding Program in Oologah, Okla., says that she has already begun to use some of her Purina HOW® sweepstakes winnings. As a proud owner of two horses, Schueller is already working with Twister Trailer to develop a customized trailer for her horse’s specific needs.
“I’m actually going to the factory to help them design it,” said Schueller. “I’d like to design it so that it is big enough for draft horses or warm bloods. My two year old doesn’t fit in my bumper right now, so I’m looking for something to specifically accommodate her.”
Pat Packard, of Antigo, Wis., and Kenneth Martin, of Plymouth, Calif., are regional prize winners of the sweepstakes, both receiving a John Deere Compact Utility Tractor 3032E with 305 a loader, an iMatch Hitch and a RC2060 Frontier Rotary Cutter. The winners also receive a $1,000 Carhartt® Gift Certificate and $250 in Wrangler® apparel.

Purina’s HOW® Horse Owner’s Workshop is an annual event held from January to June at more than 1,000 Purina dealers across the country.
