Generous Sponsors Support Top Competition at Kentucky Spring Horse Shows

Kentucky Spring Horse Shows’ management company, Kentucky Horse Shows LLC, is pleased to announce that Audi of Lexington, Johnson Horse Transportation, FarmVet, Dietrich Insurance, and the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will be sponsoring this year’s hunter/jumper competition. The event begins with the Kentucky Spring Horse Show being held May 12-16, 2010, and continues with the Kentucky Spring Classic scheduled for the week of May 19-23, 2010. The shows are all held at the newly renovated Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, which is also the site of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian GamesT.

Audi of Lexington will be returning as the sponsor for the $55,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix on May 22, in the Main Stadium, during the Kentucky Spring Classic. The company will also be continuing its generous support of the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame (SJHOF) Amateur-Owner/Junior Jumper Classic during both weeks of competition.

Johnson Horse Transportation is also a returning sponsor for 2010, supporting the Children’s Jumper Classics and Adult Amateur Jumper Classics during the Kentucky Spring Horse Show and the Kentucky Spring Classic. The Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumper Classics are qualifying events for the North American League and Washington International Horse Show Finals. Dietrich Insurance will be the Presenting Sponsor for the $15,000 Chronicle of the Horse/USHJA International Hunter Derby. This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, in the Main Stadium, and will feature many of the top hunter riders in the country. The Series features five grand prix events and culminates with the 50,000 Hagyard CSI-W Lexington held on August 20, where the rider who accumulates the most points in the series will receive a $40,000 Leading Rider Bonus.

The facility at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute offers 13 Digital Radiology systems, 1.5 Tesla Siemens Open MRI, Nuclear Scintigraphy, a high speed treadmill, an on-site laboratory, an on-site pharmacy, full surgical services, 24-hour ambulance and emergency services, and Hyperbaric Medicine.
